One of the major school council projects this year is the improvement of the gardens at the front of the school. The school council were asked to consider how they thought the Griffe Field children would want to use the space. In addition to the story-telling area, there is now a stage, a bridge, and other exciting things too. Council members have spent some of their dinner time planting and – of course – putting up our Eco-Flag!

The children in school were asked to think of a new Eco-Code by Mrs Wheatley. The school councillors reported back each class’ ideas and then composed one whole school Eco-code using all of the fabuous suggestions. Mrs Mitchell liked the final version which was created, which you can see below.
